Second Site for Station 2

On June 8, 2005, crews moved into a new Fire Station 2 located just 500 feet east of the original station on Welch Road. The original Station 2 was completed in 1980 and had served the city well for 25 years.

This station manages emergency calls in the north area of Apopka. Additional manpower and equipment were added over the years due to the rapid growth in this section of the city.
