The City of Apopka is here to support our community during the Coronavirus pandemic with safe and convenient testing. 

Please visit our website to read more about this testing site. We will also be posting on our website when capacity has been reached for the day.

2020 Graduation Parades

The City of Apopka will be hosting two graduation parades at the Northwest Recreation Complex. 


Wekiva High School: May 23, 2020
from 10 AM to 1 PM


Apopka High School: May 30, 2020
from 2 PM to 5 PM


The seniors will drive through the Northwest Recreation Complex while parents and family members are parked along the route. Parents can park in any spot at the complex (limit three cars per family). 

In order to comply with social distancing requirements, we ask that everyone remain in their cars and to remain parked for the entirety of the parade. 

AM 950 and FM 94.9 THE ANSWER, part of Salem Communications, will broadcast the event and announce the names of all the graduating seniors. 

Each senior will have signs on their cars with their names for easy identification by the audience.

The City of Apopka and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10147 would like to invite the public to join us as we honor the lives and legacy of our fallen military heroes on Monday, May 25, 2020, in observance of Memorial Day.

This service will begin promptly at 11 AM at the Veterans Memorial located at the Edgewood / Greenwood Cemetery in Apopka, FL.
