Orange County Emergency Executive Order 2020-04


On March 24, 2020 Mayor Demings, Orange County Mayor made an executive order for residents in Orange County. This pertains to all Apopka residents in Orange County.

This Emergency Executive Order becomes effective on March 26, 2020 at 11 PM and shall expire on April 9, 2020 at 11 PM.

Spreading Kindness in the City #ApopkaKindness

Tired of social distancing on the couch? During this time of social distancing, we can still help our neighbors and show a little kindness. As we are taking precautions to limit the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), many us us may feel isolated or afraid or unable to leave our homes for even the most essential tasks.

Apopka Fire Department: Fire Safety Drawings

The Apopka Fire Department understands that due to the current health concerns surrounding Coronavirus (COVID-19) a lot of our families and children are at home right now. While we have had to suspend in-person community education per safety guidelines, we want to continue with our community outreach and education.

We are asking that you get together as a family and send us your best fire safety drawings.To share your fire safety drawings you can either tag us @ApopkaFireDepartment and use our Hashtag #ApopkaFireDrawings, or send them to jmaynard@apopka.net and we will share the drawings on our Facebook page. Florida Small Business Emergency Bridge Loan Program
The Florida Small Business Emergency Bridge Loan Program is currently available to small business owners located in all Florida counties statewide that experienced economic damage as a result of COVID-19. Please visit their website for more information on this program.
