Resolution Number 2023-29
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APOPKA, FLORIDA ESTABLISHING 2023 RATE SCHEDULES PERTAINING TO CITY OF APOPKA WATER USE CHARGES AND DEPOSITS, WASTEWATER USE CHARGES AND DEPOSITS, DISTRIBUTED WASTEWATER TREATMENT SYSTEM USE CHARGES AND DEPOSITS, AND RECLAIMED WATER RATES; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Section 78-54, Code of Ordinances of the City of Apopka, establishes rate schedules to be adopted by resolution of the city council for Water Use Charges and Deposits, Wastewater Use Charges and Deposits, Distributed Wastewater Treatment System Use Charges and Deposits, and Reclaimed Water Rates; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that adopting a Rate Schedules for the above listed city utilities serves a municipal and public purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF APOPKA, FLORIDA THAT: SECTION I. The City Council hereby adopts the City’s Water Use Charges and Deposits, Schedule A, attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein. SECTION II. The City Council hereby adopts the City’s Wastewater Use Charges and Deposits, Schedule B, attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein. SECTION III. The City Council hereby adopts the City’s Distributed Wastewater Treatment Use System Charges and Deposits, Schedule C, attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein. SECTION IV. The City Council hereby adopts the City’s Reclaimed Water Rates, Schedule D, attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein. SECTION V. Resolution 2021-02 is hereby repealed in its entirety. SECTION VI. This Resolution shall become effective October 1, 2023.
