Public Notice: State of Water Supply Conservation Enacted
To the City of Apopka residents,
A State of Water Supply Conservation has been enacted by the City of Apopka, Department of Public Services, to ensure an adequate supply of reclaim water. With increased consumption of the water supply at the City of Apopka Reclaim Water Plants, the City is enforcing the irrigation schedule listed below.
According to the St. Johns River Water Management District, restricted irrigation activities are permitted before 10:00 AM and after 4:00 PM and are limited to alternate days during Daylight Savings Time. As such, addresses ending in odd numbers may water on Wednesday & Saturday. Addresses ending in even numbers may water on Thursday and Sunday. Non-residential irrigation may water on Tuesday and Friday. Please limit your watering as we face unprecedented heat and lack of rain. Any irrigation practices are restricted to 15 minutes per zone.
Consequences of violating the restrictions are:
- First Violation: Written Warning
