For Immediate Release: Upcoming Virtual Public Meeting for Ocoee-Apopka Road Corridor Study

The City of Apopka will hold a public meeting regarding project plans for Ocoee-Apopka Road (also known as County Road 437A) on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at 6 PM. The purpose of this virtual meeting is to present and explain the study process, seek local input, and provide interested persons an opportunity to get involved in the study. 

The limits of the study are from Harmon Road to Hawthorne Avenue. The purpose of this study is to widen Ocoee Apopka Road to 4-lanes to accommodate the needs of existing and future developments and to improve safety and access management along the study corridor. The study is being conducted in partnership with Orange County. 

The meeting will be held online via GoToWebinar. The meeting is free to attend and can be accessed by computer and phone. 

Virtual Option: Interested persons may join the virtual public meeting from a computer, tablet or mobile device. For this option, advance registration is required by visiting https://bit.ly/ocoee-apopka-corridor-study. Once registered, participants will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting online. 
Note: Internet Explorer cannot be used to register or attend this webinar. If joining online, please allow adequate login time to view the presentation in its entirety. 

Phone Option (Listen Only): Participants may join the meeting in listen-only mode by dialing 1-213-929-4212 and entering the audio access code 293-741-348 when prompted. Public participation is solicited without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability, or family status.
