The City of Apopka is pleased to present the 2020 to 2021 budget for review. The departments have spent months analyzing their budgets, looking for ways to save money without reducing services. Based on the reduced sales tax dollars, our budget is lean but achieves the objectives that are requested by our residents. 

Edward Bass (City Administrator) and I, Mayor Nelson are always available to answer any questions about the detailed 2020-2021 budget. Our team of over 470 employees are proud to serve Apopka and we look forward to another successful year!

Fiscal Year (FY) 2020 to 2021 Tentative Budget: All Funds (PDF)

This is the proposed annual operating and capital budget for the City of Apopka, Florida for the fiscal year October 1, 2020 through September 30, 2021 (FY21). The proposed budget was prepared in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and all applicable City, State, and Federal requirements. The budget document is a financial plan, intended to articulate the goals and objectives set forth by the City Council.
