Sidewalk Improvement Project

The City of Apopka Sidewalk Development Project will begin soon. The City’s contractor will set-up Traffic Control Measures while the work is being performed, so temporary and minor impacts to traffic are likely during the construction on each of the streets listed below. In most cases the sidewalk construction will only take three to five days to complete per block, so impacts to traffic will be very minimal.

Please Note: Because the sidewalk construction contractor will need to access the entire right-of-ways of these roadways, all personal property must be removed from the right-of-way during the construction process. Any personal property not removed from the right-of-way will be removed by the contractor and will not be returned. Any vehicles and other personal items within the right-of- way will impact the continuous paving operation, so we are requesting that all parked vehicles and personal items be removed from the right-of-way.

Sidewalk Construction Schedule for August 7 through December 6, 2023 for the following road: Marvin C Zanders Avenue, 4th Street, 5th Street, 7th Street, MA Board Street, S. Highland Avenue, S. Washington Avenue.
